134 IBM BladeCenter JS23 and JS43 Implementation Guide
over the remote control interface of the Advanced Management Module (AMM) in
the BladeCenter chassis.
To change the assignment of a physical optical device, select the check box of
the device to be changed and click Modify partition assignment. A dialog
opens that guides you through the assignment change.

To make the physical optical device available to the VIOS itself, select None.
Otherwise, select the logical partition that the physical optical device will be
assigned and then click OK, as shown in Figure 4-45 on page 135.
Note: The remote control function for the IBM BladeCenter JS23 or JS43 is
only available to the blade slot that has the media tray assignment.
